Jose Quinonez
Born in Brooklyn, New York, my creative path didn’t start with a tattoo machine — it started in the kitchen. I spent years as a chef, learning discipline, patience, and respect for craft before finding my true calling in tattooing in my late twenties. That shift changed everything.
I’ve now been tattooing for over 20 years, dedicating my career to creating work that’s bold, timeless, and built to last. My primary focus is black and grey realism, where I thrive on the challenge of bringing depth, emotion, and life to skin. I also work in traditional tattooing, because it’s the foundation of our art form, and I incorporate stippling when the piece calls for texture and nuance.
What drives me is the process — the challenge of realism, the trust between artist and client, and the opportunity to create something meaningful that stays with you forever. I’m proud of the work I do, and I look forward to earning the trust and business of everyone who takes the time to visit my site.
